Partner Access

What partnership with The World Agency Official does and does not involve, given that we are an editorial publisher rather than a booking platform.

Gallery interior of a museum

Organisations connected to travel, tourism boards, destination marketing bodies, operators and others, sometimes ask how they can work with The World Agency Official. Because we are a publisher rather than a booking platform, that relationship looks different from what a commercial travel partnership programme would typically offer, and this page sets out what we can and cannot provide.

What we are, in this context

We publish editorial destination guides, route notes and travel writing. We do not operate an affiliate booking engine, a listings marketplace or a paid placement programme for travel products, and there is no dashboard, login or account structure here for partners in the way there might be on a booking platform. Any engagement with us happens through editorial channels rather than a commercial partner portal.

  • We do not sell paid placement within our editorial guides
  • We do not operate a partner login, dashboard or account system
  • Coverage decisions are made editorially, not on a commercial basis
  • We are open to hearing from organisations with genuinely useful information for readers
  • Any factual updates from a destination or operator are welcome as correction reports

How useful information reaches our guides

If a tourism board, park authority or operator has factual information relevant to a guide we have already published, an updated opening pattern, a newly opened trail, a changed access route, we welcome that information through the same correction channel available to any reader. It is reviewed like any other correction report and, where verified, folded into the relevant page.

For genuinely newsworthy developments, a significant new attraction opening, a substantial change to how a destination can be reached, we are also glad to hear pitches for new editorial coverage, judged on the same basis as any other story idea, that is, on whether it is useful and interesting to our readers.

We can hear you out on a story worth telling, but we cannot offer a paid spot on the page.

What partner access does not include

We do not offer guaranteed positive coverage, guaranteed inclusion in a guide, or influence over the editorial judgement applied to a destination in exchange for a commercial relationship. Our guides need to remain useful to readers making independent decisions, and that only works if the editorial line stays separate from any commercial interest a destination or operator might have in how it is described.

If you represent an organisation and want to discuss any of the above, the general contact channel is the right starting point. Describe clearly what you are hoping for, and we will let you know honestly whether it is something we are able to offer.
