If you have arrived on this page looking for an account area to manage a flight, hotel or tour reservation, it is important to say clearly that The World Agency Official does not sell, hold or manage travel bookings of any kind. We are a publisher of destination guides and travel writing, and there is no reservation system, account login or booking dashboard associated with this site.
Where your booking actually lives
Whatever you booked, whether a flight, a hotel room, a rental car, a guided tour or a ferry crossing, the reservation is held by the airline, hotel, agency or platform you paid at the time of booking. That is also where any confirmation number, itinerary document or booking reference was issued, and it is the only place that record can be looked up, changed or cancelled.
- Flights: manage your booking directly through the airline's website or app using your reservation code
- Hotels: contact the property directly or the platform through which you booked
- Tours and activities: the tour operator holds your booking details, not us
- Car rental: the rental company's own booking portal handles changes and cancellations
- Ferries and trains: the carrier's own ticketing system is the authoritative record
If you cannot find your confirmation
Booking confirmations are typically sent by email at the time of purchase, so the fastest way to recover a lost reference is usually to search your inbox for the operator's name or the amount charged. Most airline, hotel and platform websites also offer a lookup tool using your surname and booking reference, or your email address and travel date, if you have misplaced the original confirmation entirely.
If you booked through a wider platform that aggregates several suppliers, such as a flight comparison site or a package holiday marketplace, that platform's own support channel is usually the right place to start, since it will often sit between you and the underlying airline or hotel.
We write the guide that helps you choose; the operator holds the ticket that gets you there.
How our guides fit into your trip
Where we can genuinely help is before and after the booking itself. Our route guides and destination pages are designed to inform the decisions that lead up to a booking, which region to visit, how long to spend somewhere, what a particular route involves, so that by the time you do book, you are booking the right thing for your trip. Reading a relevant guide alongside your itinerary can also help you plan what to see and do once your travel and accommodation are already confirmed.
If a guide led you to a destination or route that then caused a booking problem, for instance a place that turned out to be closed or harder to reach than expected, we do want to know, since it may mean the guide needs correcting. That feedback should go through our contact page rather than to a booking system that does not exist here.
