The World Agency Official is a publisher of destination guides, route notes and travel essays. We are not a booking agency, a tour operator or a travel management company, so we do not hold reservations, issue tickets or manage itineraries on anyone's behalf. What we do is research, write and edit the guides you read on this site, and we welcome contact from readers who want to tell us something, ask us something or point out where we have got a detail wrong.
Ways to reach the desk
The simplest route is the contact form linked from the footer of every page. It routes your message directly to the editorial team without needing you to draft a formal email, and it asks for just enough detail, your name, the page you are writing about and your message, for us to act on it quickly. If you prefer email, you can write to us at hello@theworldagencyofficial.com and a member of the editorial team will read it.
- Use the contact form for general questions, feedback or suggestions
- Email hello@theworldagencyofficial.com if you prefer a written record of your query
- Include the exact page title or web address when reporting an error
- Tell us the date you read the guide, since seasonal detail changes over the year
- Keep booking, ticketing and refund questions for the operator or platform you booked with
What happens after you write to us
Every message that reaches the desk is read by a person. Straightforward corrections, a misspelled place name, an outdated opening time reference, a broken link, are usually actioned within a few working days. Longer or more detailed queries, such as a request that we revisit a whole section of a guide, take longer because they involve rechecking sources and sometimes rewriting several paragraphs rather than one line.
We try to reply to every message that asks a direct question, though during busy periods, particularly around seasonal changes when a large number of guides are being reviewed at once, responses can take a little longer than usual. If you have not heard back within a couple of weeks and your query was time sensitive, it is worth writing again with a short reminder attached to the original subject line.
We would rather receive a short, specific note about one paragraph than a general comment we cannot act on.
What we cannot help with
Because we publish editorial content and do not sell travel, we cannot check, amend or cancel a booking, issue a refund, change a reservation date or provide real time flight or hotel availability. Those matters sit entirely with the airline, hotel, ferry company, tour operator or booking platform you used, and their customer service channels will have access to your reservation in a way that we simply do not.
We also cannot provide personalised visa or entry advice for your specific passport and circumstances. Our guides describe the general shape of entry requirements as understood at the time of writing, but rules change, exceptions exist, and the only reliable source for your own situation is the relevant embassy, consulate or official government travel advisory.
Story ideas and pitches
If you think we have missed a destination, a route or an angle worth covering, we are glad to hear it. Tell us what the story is, why it matters to readers now, and any first hand knowledge you have of the place. We cannot promise to commission every idea that comes in, but a well argued pitch with specific detail is far more likely to be taken forward than a general request to cover a whole country.
Whichever channel you use, please write in whichever language you are most comfortable in. Our editorial team works primarily in English, so replies will generally come back in English even if your original message was in another language.
