Is The World Agency Official a travel agency?
No. Despite the name, we are a publisher of editorial travel content, not a booking agency. We do not sell flights, hotels, tours or insurance, and we do not hold or manage any reservation on a reader's behalf. Our work is research, writing and editing.
Who writes the guides?
Our guides are produced by an editorial team that researches each destination, cross checks practical detail and writes the route notes, highlights and essays you find across the site.
How often are guides updated?
Guides are reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority given to pages covering seasonal detail, opening patterns or anything flagged by readers as outdated. There is no fixed calendar for every page, so always treat time sensitive detail, such as exact prices or hours, as a starting point rather than a guarantee.

Can I download a guide for offline use?
Pages can be saved from your browser for offline reading in the usual way your device allows, though we do not currently offer a dedicated downloadable file format.
Do you cover every country?
We are steadily expanding our coverage across regions, countries, cities and routes. If a destination you are interested in is not yet covered in the depth you would like, it is worth checking back, or telling us directly so we can weigh it against other stories in the pipeline.
Why does a guide recommend one route over another?
Route recommendations are based on practical factors such as terrain, seasonal access, typical journey times and how a route connects to nearby highlights. They reflect editorial judgement rather than any commercial arrangement with a particular operator.

Bookings and reservations
Can you book my trip for me?
No. We do not sell or hold travel reservations of any kind. Once you decide where to go, you will need to book directly with an airline, hotel, ferry company, tour operator or an established booking platform.
I have a problem with a booking I made after reading your guide. Can you help?
We are sorry to hear that, but because we have no visibility into your reservation, we cannot intervene, request a refund or contact the operator on your behalf. The company you booked with is best placed to resolve the issue.
Do your prices or fares stay accurate?
Where a guide mentions a price range, it is intended as a general indication at the time of writing. Prices for transport, accommodation and activities change frequently, and the operator's own site or a live booking platform will always be more accurate than a printed figure in an article.
Our job is to help you plan well, not to process your booking.
